Helping underprivileged PT3 students
Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Bhd has collaborated with Star Media Group Bhd for the second year to organise the Let’s Score “A” PT3 workshop for underprivileged students at Menara Great Eastern Mall in Kuala Lumpur.
The participants were selected from registered children’s homes across Malaysia established by the Social Welfare Department (JKM).
A total of 70 PT3 candidates attended the workshop and some of them came from as far as Kelantan, Terengganu and Malacca to receive guidance on Bahasa Malaysia, Science, Mathematics and English.
The workshop is a comprehensive revision programme that aims to equip the students with proper answering techniques and useful tips in tackling exam questions.
The students were divided into two groups for the one-day workshop to create an interactive environment in a smaller group and as a result, the students were able to focus better and were seen engaging and getting along with the teachers.
